Il est divis\u00e9 en deux zones d\u00e9di\u00e9es de manipulation\u00a0:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une premi\u00e8re zone est d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la manipulation des bact\u00e9ries et est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019un poste de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 microbiologique (PSM), d\u2019un incubateur statique et deux incubateurs orbitaux. Les techniques couramment utilis\u00e9es sont le clonage de vecteur, la transformation bact\u00e9rienne et l\u2019extraction d\u2019ADN plasmidique.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Une deuxi\u00e8me zone est d\u00e9di\u00e9e \u00e0 la manipulation des levures et est \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019un poste de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 microbiologique (PSM), de deux incubateurs statiques et un incubateur orbital. Ainsi, il est possible d\u2019\u00e9tudier la croissance des levures sur diff\u00e9rents milieux liquides ou solides, de r\u00e9aliser des criblages de banques de mol\u00e9cules.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La salle est \u00e9galement \u00e9quip\u00e9e d\u2019un Spectrophotom\u00e8tre UV\/visible permettant la photom\u00e9trie standard (absorption, transmission et concentration) ainsi que l\u2019analyse quantitative et cin\u00e9tique.
